Distributors celebrate milestone anniversaries.

The Miner Corporation
(San Antonio, TX)
To thank employees and customers for their support, The Miner Corporation celebrated 15 years with special events and promotions all year long. A special anniversary party is in the works for early 2010 to coincide with the opening of new offices in San Antonio.

E.D. Farrell Co.
(West Seneca, NY)
Third-generation owner Edward R. Otis (on truck) and son Jim in the company’s headquarters. A pizza party with gift baskets for everyone was held at each branch to celebrate 75 years and recognition as a 2008 Yale Dealer of Excellence.

Viccaro Equipment Corp. (Hauppauge, NY)
Viccaro Equipment Corp.’s first location was in a 2,500 sq. ft. facility (above). Twenty years later, the company now occupies a 21,000 sq. ft. facility. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, employees and their families gathered to celebrate at the home of company president Frank Viccaro.

Barloworld Handling (Charlotte, NC)
What is now the Charlotte-based headquarters of the U.S. division of Barloworld Handling actually began in 1943 as a small distribution business named Wrenn Brothers. In 1949, Wrenn Brothers became one of the first Hyster lift truck dealers in the region, and the reason the company celebrates its 60th anniversary today.
Through a few acquisitions, Wrenn Brothers became a part of Barloworld Handling and expanded to include 30 branches throughout the Southeast.

(Walled Lake, MI)
Employees of Shelving & Rack Supply marked the 30th anniversary with a nod to the company’s vision statement during a celebratory pancake breakfast: “Leave the breakfast with your sleeves rolled up and put forth your greatest effort.”

Forklift Enterprises (Hobbs, NM)
To celebrate Forklift Enterprises‘ 30th anniversary, the company sent out mailers and held an e-campaign to thank customers for their business, whether at the old shop (left) or the current location (right).

Santana Equipment
Trading Co.
(Gurnee, IL)
The local Gurnee Days Parade coincided with Santana Equipment Trading‘s 10th anniversary, so the company joined the procession in order to celebrate the milestone and thank its customers.

Equipco Division Phillips Corporation
(Bridgeville, PA)
Equipco Division Phillips Corporation has been selling Hyster trucks for 65 years since its founding in 1944, when the Phillips brothers purchased a Hyster lift truck and signed a dealership agreement with Hyster Company to become the first independent Hyster dealer in the United States.

Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling
(Phoenix, AZ)
Founded in 1949, Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling has been building on the legacy left by Bob Hobbs Sr. (on forklift), Sam Leabo (standing, front) and Les Naumann (on pallet jack) for 60 years.
